Geavonnie Frazier

Geavonnie Frazier Geavonnie Frazier, a native Detroiter, is the youngest boy of 10 children, three brothers and six sisters. Three sisters are no longer with him. His eldest sister was tragically murdered when he was three, his second eldest sister died in December 2001 after a long fight with breast cancer, and he just recently lost a third sister who was also his best friend on January 6, 2007 to heart failure. His mother moved from Mississippi to Detroit in 1956 with her husband to start a new life in the Midwest.

Geavonnie's passion for writing started at a very young age. His move to Washington, DC brought out his passion for the theater and literary arts. There, he expanded his creative talents and skills. He began modeling and doing fashion shows and along the way meeting some of the right contacts to help him pursue his career in the entertainment industry. He was eventually signed to a modeling contract but put it on hold in order to work on Time Out.

Geavonnie learned and mastered the art of mixing poetry and page turning stories into an original masterpiece. His devotion to inspiring others no matter what race or creed, keeps his work of the streets but with an You can overcome attitude. Poetic, Sensual, and Street Hard Hitting! This is a definitely a young author on the rise! Currently, he mentors to his five teenage nephews. He believes family unity and prosperity is essential. He participates annually in charity fundraisers, including this year's Race for the Cure. In his spare time, he enjoys shopping, reading, cooking, dancing, comedy clubs, and spending time with loved ones. He is currently working on his next book.
